Question about Gateway 450ROG Notebook
The laptop works fine on AC power. It won't charge a battery, though--even a new one. The charge light begins green and turns red almost instantly. Does it need a new charging "circuit"? Is there such a part? Hate to toss this puppy. It's been great until now.
Check for loose solder connection in the power supply and the terminals that connects the battery to computer.
