Go into your "Device Manager" in Windows and find out if your HDTV monitor is still installed. Delete the settings under the monitor tab and reboot the computer. With any luck the reboot will cause Windows to re-detect your current monitor and install the proper settings. A similar process may need to be followed with your video card driver as well. CAUTION: Make sure you have a disk or some means of installing a copy of your video card driver before you delete out the currently installed one.

Hope this helps!

Please help.. my monitor has no display and my don't even beep. the LED in the monitor turns back to orange after few seconds. cpu, disk drives and ram are working..

This is one of the serious problem that arises because if you set your monitor with a high resolution with high frequency, then the monitor doesn't display anything as it's frequency is out of the rang or limit of the monitor's actual resolution capacity. Each monitor will have a limit of max frequency that is said to be the Refresh rate (for each and every resolution setting the display is refreshed.) When high resolution is set with high frequency that is not supported by the monitor, it then display a message like "frequency out of range". If you press ESC key within the few seconds of this setting, it will revert back to its initial resolution. But if you continued with the setting of same High resolution with High frequency, the monitor is not going to display anything because its frequency is out of the range. Most of old monitors like CRT's etc doesn't support 1024×768 at a refresh rate greater than 60Hz.

Frequency out of range

the monitors resolution range is only to 1280X740 or 780
and your video card may also need an upgrade.
The game may require a higher resolution that is not compatible with the the devices mentioned.

"out of frequency range" message nothing works

Try booting to the ENABLE VGA mode off the F8 menu if you can get to the desktop and then you can go to display properties and see if you can reset the resolution to normal. If no go, try updating the video driver

Help me change my grafics card frequency from 100htz - 60htz

It sounds like the frequency referred to is the monitor's frequency. If it's an LCD monitor, the frequency is usually 60Hz. If you are using a VGA cable, it's guessing the frequency and has guessed wrong.
The other possibility is that the Railroad Tycoon game sets the screen resolution and frequency to something your monitor is not capable of displaying. It sees a nice graphics card and shoots the settings to the top of the range. If you can change the settings before playing the game, you might get it to work.
