Question about Sanyo PLC XU35 Multimedia Projector

Sanyo Pro Xtrax

I have a Sanyo PRo Xtrax Multimedia Projector. We connected it to our computer and from the projector to the monitor. The projector projects the correct colour to the wall, but the monitor's colour has a red tint. How can I fix this? When I connect the monitor directly to the computer, the monitor colour is fine. It is only when connecting the monitor to the projector that the colour on the monitor has a red tint. Please help!

Re: Sanyo Pro Xtrax

Make sure your vga connection or however you have it connected to your computer is connected tight and it's not loose, this causes most of the problems.

Re: Sanyo Pro Xtrax

It's not the bulb!! if you get a constant light source through the projector it cant be the lamp!!

The most likely cause is your graphics card either onboard or card. Check you have the latest firmware or update to this. Another check would be to reduce your resolution or image size.

Connecting sanyo pro xtrax multiverse projector to a Macbook pro

VGA to HDMI cables don't work. They're a con. VGA is an analogue signal. HDMI is digital. It's not possible to convert from one to the other with just a bit of wire.

Connected the Sanyo Pro XtraX Projector, but cannot get image to fit screen. Used the zoom button, but that does not bring it far enough down to size. HELP!

Is the projector permanently mounted or can you move the projector closer to fit your screen. This should do the trick, unless I'm missing something.

Connecting Ibook G4 to Sanyo PRO xtrax projector

Most of the Apple iBook G4 series have a video out port on the left side. This is a non-standard port and would require the use of an adapter (Apple VGA Display Adapter) that is normally included with the laptop package when first bought. The VGA's output connector is the standard 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15).

On the other hand, the Sanyo PRO XTRAX projector is capable of multiple input type of connectors. They are: a) RCA type composite video in, b) DVI, c) RGB, c) RS232, d) S-Video, e) USb and f) VGA. You would then be using the latter, VGA since it matches the Apple VGA Display Adapter.

To connect the iBook to the projector, you would need a length of VGA cable that are available in most projector/computer stores. Here, here and here are examples of commercially available.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you be in need of additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

not all computers are F4 - some are F7... - If there is not a small graphic on each Function button - just press and hold your function button and I'd start with F3 then F4 then F5 and so on - often your image will appear on the projection screen and disappear from your laptop - just re press Function and the appropriate key - you may also need to change your display - go to your control panel then display then settings and you will want 1024x768 - as far as cables you will need a male VGA that will plug into (usually blue) connection on your laptop and then depends on what type of projector you are using - it may take a VGA or RGB (5pin cable ~ red green blue horizontal vertical) make sure that in your menu settings that you have it set to the same as the input you have plugged into
