Just boaught an ipod 30gb from a pawn shop with out manul

How can i take whats on it and put what i want on it .

Well if you want to delete everything on it just connect it to itunes,(you can download it here, http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/)

If you do not want to delete everything off it, and just want to get the songs off of the ipod onto your computer download a program called SharePod(http://www.getsharepod.com/download/ you can download it there)

Once you download sharepod all you have to do it open up the program, and and connect your ipod, then just drag your mp3 song onto the SharePod screen, thats it!

sure. you can listen to it. as soon as you hook it up to your computer, with your itunes account, its going to erase the music on there and put in your playlist. so if you like it, dont hook it up to a computer to charger, use a wall plug.

Return the unit to the pawn shop. This is a PIN put in by the original user just in case it gets stolen. If the original user sold this to the pawn shop they would of removed the PIN or provided it to the pawn broker. If it was stolen there is nothing you can do but throw the unit out if the pawn broker will not help.

If it's recognised by iTunes you can restore it.This erases everything and resets it back to factory presets.You can then rename it and put your music on without problems.Apple doesn't allow any form of file sharing but doesn't care how many different people use the same iPods.I have 3 -8GB iTouchs',3 -30GB iPods,1 shuffle and 1 nano.All from Pawn Shops,you can get them for 25 cents on the dollar.

Bought ipod from pawn shop
the Ipod once you hook it up to the computer becomes like an external hard drive. hook it up go into my computer look for what looks like a new drive then open it up. once you do that go to edit select all then go down to delete click on it. it should get rid of all the files that are there. to put new ones on the ipod find the songs that you want and drag and drop them in the ipod drive.
