Problem for Sanyo Xacti VPC-S60 Digital Camera
Red flashing light

I put 3 sets of brand new batteries in the camera, and each time I powered on, the green light came on and then immediately began flashing red. Then it stopped. The camera won't power on. Any ideas?

Find a new supply of "Duracell Ultra with M3 Technology" batteries and give them a try. The flashing red light is usually an indication that the batteries you have in the unit are not producing sufficient power to run the camera. Rechargable batteries are should have a rating of 2500mAh or above in order to provide enough power to maintain the draw from the camera.
