I am usling a VIA lan adaptor 823x wich is attached directly to the motherboard(pm800-m2) it is not being detected by hardware wizard and when i try instaling the drivers manualy i get the error saying the device cannot start. i have no idea how to set it up or get it to be detected. i am trying to connect it to an external modem for use with dsl service and all i can get to work is dail-up through a diff modem.

jesus i can't get anywhere with the hp i buy i got a Pentium d and i have no sound drivers and network adapter i have one network adapter but it is connected on the motherboard but can't get a driver for it please help

You have to go to the bios to see if the card is activated ii first, if so, you can go to www.driveragent.com
