Verizon Blackberry Storm

I call my cell w/ another phone and hear rings in my headset but not at the Storm. When the Verizon catches up with the call, it is all ready to roll to voice mail, because it only rings once or twice on the receiver end. How do I increase the number of rings on my cell phone before roll to voice mail?? Also, increase ring volume too.
