The water runs after toilet is flushed. How do I stop it?

jiggle the flush handle. IF that stops it,. your connection to the ballcock assy is out of adjustment, give it a little play, if it doesnt, replace your flapper valve. its the large swinging disk at the base of the tank. itll leak and that causes the water to drain which causes the tank to constantly need to fill itself.

I bouught a new fluidmaster 4021GR for the same problem I am having with the new one..toilet flushes but 50% of the time it stops and doesnt fill

When that happens it is usually because the float became caught in the flush handle mechanism. This is due to improper clearance when the unit is installed. As long as the float can move freely in the vertical direction, there should not be an issue with the toilet filling.

How do I stop water running into pan after toilet has been flushed &refilled.

If there is water still running into the toilet bowl, there is a problem with your flapper or flush valve. The most common problem, and least expensive to fix, is the flapper has gone bad and is allowing water to escape past it. Replace the flapper and the water should stop running. If not, it is possible the flush valve or one of the seals holding it to the tank has gone bad and needs replaced. Try replacing the whole flush valve. They come in a kit that includes the valve, flapper, and seals.

Jacuzzi toilet

After flush the system must close the hole which lets water into the toilet. If it does not close after flush, it is continuously letting the water thru. Check if it closes after flush and allows tank to fill.

It could be the type of flap you are using. I would suggest you try a different shaped flapper (a cone would work best) and if that doesn't do it, put a new kit into the unit, because it could be that the float system is sticking causing it to continue running.

Toilet doen't stop flushing

Sounds like the flapper is stuck in the open position.
They sometimes get hung on the flush tube or the chain hanging from the handle.

Is the water level overflowing the tube?
If so, try adjusting the level down, you may need a new fill valve if that doesnt work.
