Get the USB cord to connect the iPhone to the computer and start iTunes but do not connect the iPhone yet. Hold the home button and on/off button together for 5 sec as the iphone is booting (apple logo appears on iphone screen). The iPhone will then turn off (black screen, Apple logo disappears). Hold down the home button and then, as you keep holding it, plug in the USB cord. The Iphone should now turn on, the apple logo should appear. After 7-10 sec a usb connector symbol should appear on the screen. You are now in recovery mode. The iphone should connect to iTunes and let you restore. If the restore is not successful you may have a hardware issue (def. logic board). There is an iPhone Repair Guide that shows how to open an iphone if you want to attempt a self-repair, parts are easily available on Ebay.

IPhone Camera Not Working

  • Ok I found the solution to this problem. This is what worked for me.
  • Apparently the problem lies in a hidden folder called  .MISC under
  • SSH/MobileFinder to Media/DCIM/
  •  (if you are using MobileFinder, make sure to turn on "invisible files" in the settings)
  • Delete this folder which contains the preference file for the camera and the poster picture for the camera's album thumbnail.
  • Try taking a picture again and it should work fine now.
