I wanted to delete all pictures off my iphone and couldnt find a way to do so ...so i went to the settings,general,restore to delete all media on my iphone this took about an hour after it had finished the black screen with the apple logo came on and has been on since it restarts every few mins but will not come back on please help !!
Get the USB cord to connect the iPhone to the computer and start iTunes but do not connect the iPhone yet. Hold the home button and on/off button together for 5 sec as the iphone is booting (apple logo appears on iphone screen). The iPhone will then turn off (black screen, Apple logo disappears). Hold down the home button and then, as you keep holding it, plug in the USB cord. The Iphone should now turn on, the apple logo should appear. After 7-10 sec a usb connector symbol should appear on the screen. You are now in recovery mode. The iphone should connect to iTunes and let you restore. If the restore is not successful you may have a hardware issue (def. logic board).
