I'm wondering what the 2 way switch is for that triggers the pump to empty out the water basin

A two-way switch is a type of switch that allows you to control a circuit with two separate locations. It is often used to control lights, fans, or other electrical devices from two different locations.
A two-way switch that triggers a pump to empty out a water basin is likely part of a sump pump system. A sump pump is a device that is installed in a pit or basin in the basement or crawl space of a home. The pit is designed to collect water that may seep into the basement. The sump pump then pumps the collected water out of the basement and away from the home.
The two-way switch you are referring to is likely a switch that is installed in two separate locations. One location would be near the sump pump, and the other location would be in a convenient location for the homeowner, such as near the electrical panel or in a living area. The switch allows the homeowner to turn the sump pump on or off from either location.
It could also be a two-way switch that controls the water level in the basin, when the level reaches a certain point, the switch triggers the pump to turn on and empty the water out.
It is important to consult with a professional electrician or a plumber if you have any doubts about the proper installation or operation of the sump pump and its switches.

My pipes make a gurgling noise whenever I empty a basin

The area where the pipes meet the vertical stack often fill up with slime from the bottom leaving just a small gap at the top for the waste water to run. The means the water runs slowly at this point and causes air to run back. I find this product very good. Use it at bedtime two days running and follow it with a full sink of very hot water.

Pump continuosly runs after water is cleared out of basin

The problem is with the float switch. I have attached the manual. There is probably something keeping the float from falling back down. Check you sump basin and make sure nothing (including the power cord) is interfering with float.

It is leaking all over the floor

It has a basin in the bottom of the unit that catches the condensation (water)from the evaporator coil. This is the humidity in the room that the a/c is removing. This basin needs to be emptied and can be accessed from the rear of the a/c. Pull it out and empty it and your problem should be solved.

Hope this helps.

How do I empty the water resevoir on the Bunn CW15-APS?

Syphon it out from the brew inlet hole in the tank basin, or remove the top panel and the tank basin, then remove the grommet on the pressure stat and turn it over in the sink.

Door locked and takes water will not empty or spin

turn the machine off and check under the lid.
the pressure switch hose may have fallen off. its a clear tube that fits onto a nozzle on the underside of a plastic circular unit about 40mm diameter on the left hand side. this should shut the water off when filled to correct level.
to get the water out in any case put the drain hose end lower than the water level into a basin to syphon it out. lifting the hose above water level will stop it till you empty basin.

Emptying the deep fryer

Ther below taken straight from the RIVAL web site.
Remove the oil bowl by lifting the bowl straight up out of the plastic exterior. To replace oil bowl, be sure the brass guide post (between the 2 electric prongs on the bottom of the bowl) is aligned properly with the center hole of the receptacle in the bottom of the housing. The brass guide post should guide the electric prongs into the correct position. Firmly press on bowl to ensure it is positioned properly. Lid should close tightly.
