Can i connect a tv to a bose series ii system

Yes you can, only thing is you may have to buy a 3.5mm phono jack to 2RCA converter.Because all standard TV audio out is RCA sockets unless you are planning on connecting the headphone out of the TV. This has an advantage, you can control the volume using the TV remote, but the disadvantage is if you turn up the TV volume very high the Bose may distort due to input overload .

I hooked up the speakers to my computer and no sound comes out of the speakers

I don't know what is the operating system you are using with your computer.Still we can check, first we need to find out if the problem is with the speaker or with the computer.

Try these steps
  • connect those speakers with other computer check the sound, if you are getting sound there it means speakers are ok need to check computer audio setup and hardware.
  • If you are not getting any sound connecting speakers with other computer then it is speakers need to replace.

Incase speakers are ok Disconnect the speakers

  • restart the computer, check if there is windows sound if not
  • right click on the volume control icon on the left hand button corner of the screen, uncheck the mute option.still not getting any sound?
  • try to download the audio driver from the dell support site.still not getting
  • need to check the internal speaker connection,if it is fine
  • go to this website and click on Restore sound -windows Audio service and run the tweak,YOU NEED TO USE INTERNET EXPLORER
  • still you cannot hear the sound change the internal speaker.
Even you can check the link for your speaker set up-

Microphone,no sound

First check the status on your system's sound settings. Make sure none are on mute.
If your using PC then go into hardware manager and look for any yellow question marks in you're hardware lineup. Make sure all of your devices are loaded properly. If they aren't and you happen to see any of those yellow question marks then reload the drivers. Eather that or chew relentlessly on the microphone until it agrees to cooperate with you.
