Microsoft Turtle Beach X4 Dolby Digital Wireless Headphones for Xbox, Xbox 360 Logo
Anonymous Posted on Aug 09, 2013

My P11 Turtle beach headsets make an awful crackling noise when i adjust the game volume on the headsets. There is also no game volume when this happens. The noise would become louder and more irritating once the game volume was turned up. The chat noise is not affected at all and is perfectly clear

SOURCE: turtle beaches make a crakle sound

If you unplug the chat-controller cable from both the headset and the controller, then play the game soundtrack through the headphones, do you still hear the high pitched noises, or do they go away?
If they go away, then a replacement chat-controller should fix the problem.
If the noises do not go away, then your best bet would be to tell Turtle Beach tech support about this --- [email protected].

SOURCE: I can't hear any voice messages or anything my

This sounds like a faulty talkback cable/puck. You can buy a replacement on the Turtle Beach site or contact their support about a replacement.

SOURCE: I have owned a pair of turtle beach x4 headphones

There's probably nothing wrong with the headset. Just disconnect all the cables, move the transmitter to a new location and make sure to use new batteries.

SOURCE: hiya my sons turtle beach head set has stopped

If the speaker blew because he's using the headset that loud, then your son's hearing is at risk. I doubt this type of misuse will be covered under any warranty, so your best option is to just purchase a replacement headset. Either the X4 or X3 will work. http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efx3a/replacementparts.aspx http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efx4a/replacementparts.aspx

I can hear them but they do not hear me

Troubleshoot. 1. Ensure you have installed the controller cable to Turtle headset. 2. Ensure chat button is turned on. 3. Ensure Chat volume is turned up. 4. Consult Turtle headset instructions for proper configuration. (Ideally it should work.)

Turtle beach

The batteries are probably low, first the headset will give out one beep per minute, which rises to almost every second. I had a problem with this too.

P11 only plays out one ear.

hi Charzie.
There can be many reasons that a pair of headphones only play audio out of one ear. The most common reason for sound to only come out of one side is the wires near the audio jack have gotten bent back and forth so many times that it has caused a short in the wiring.
read up on how you might be able to fix this.

Turtle Beach x1's make an annoying beeping noise

If you're using the Play n Charge kit, then you might be hearing some buzz/whine through the USB power. Use the X1 without the Play n Charge. Does that help?
If you unplug the chat-controller cable from the X1 volume control box, can you now hear shots and explosions without the annoying beeping/buzzing noise? If so, then you may have a bad chat-controller cable, and you should have it replaced.

My turtle beach problem is that i hear no sound at all i cant hear chatting or the game audio

With the X1 plugged in, look at the white volume control box (on the main cable about a foot down from the headset). Is the LED on that box lit up green or red? If yes, then it's got power. If not, then the headset is defective and you should contact Turtle Beach about it. [email protected].
If the light is lit, then you might want to try testing the X1 with an iPod or other portable music player that has a 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jack.
- Plug the X1 USB plug into a USB port on a PC, Xbox or whatever. - Plug the X1 green plug into the headphone jack on your player. - Turn the volume up about 1/2 way on the player and on the X1. - Play a track on the player.
Do you hear sound? If so, your X1 is OK, but you may need to adjust settings on your Xbox. If not, then you have a problem with the X1 and you should contact Turtle Beach about getting it replaced or fixed. [email protected].
