This is the same old story with Lexmark printers, you cant do any thing about it the chips have a small fuse inside them and soon as they emty it blows the fuse, and thats it so I beleave the only way is to buy new ink, or a diferent printer.
Not know any fix for them myself sorry.
Can try.
Turn printer off. Unplug power cord and other cables. Wait 30 seconds. Plug cords and cables back in.
Also seen this on the net.
Use clear tape over left hand row of sensors on front of cartridge and re-insert. ink now shows with question mark but reads as full and prints fine.
but yeah, best bet, never ever buy lexmark.....:)

If that doesn't work, try disabling your ink monitoring software.
