Check the Oil level. If gas got past the needle valve ( which happens more and more with this Ethanol gas ruining Rubber carburetor parts) Then gas will run down the cylinder walls and into the crankcase. Gas will mix with the oil and overfill the crankcase that will cause the mower to smoke like crazy.

Why bmw x5 battery drain fan not working exhaust blowing out white smoke... what may be happening.

White smoke out of the exhaust indicates moisture (water) in the exhaust. If the car is not driven very far each day, some moisture will collect in the muffler and cause white smoke for a short while after starting. If the smoke is continual, however, you need to watch you coolant level as you may have a blown head gasket.

White smoke?

It's just condensation. Water will also drip from the pipe.

The colder it is, the worse the 'smoke' will be. I was in Vernal, Utah earlier this week, drove through -18*F weather, my truck never quit blowing white smoke.

And NO IT IS NOT YOUR HEADGASKET
