No remote I lost my remote and i want to get my tv into the game mode or av mode to play my xbox. How do i get there with no remote.

on the TV remote click input scroll down to AV click ok.

see on the remote contro you got option for TV/AV 1 and AV 2.and you shouldd enable the game mode

some TV's have a componant button which usally means AV

Try running your game via av/hdmi - you will have to change settings on xbox so that it is comp.with the channel you are trying to play through.

did you try to switch the tv modes Ex. my tv has av 1 av 2 comp 1 comp 2 does it have those modes

Unless the TV has a front-panel menu button and allows you to switch modes from there, you are out of luck. There are two possibilities. One is to try another replacement remote. If you get a universal remote made by the TV manufacturer (Magnavox), it may have buttons that will work. The other option is to purchase an RF converter, which will cost around $15. This will take the video/audio signals from the game and convert it to a channel 3 or 4 signal you can then tune in on the TV. The picture won't be quite as bright and clear as with direct AV input, but it will do the trick.

well if you change the channel to the highest it goes some TV can be changed to a/v mode

or the lowerest number under 2 sometime a/v might be there

remote stop working due to batteries or drop remote, might have to be replaced either abtteries or whole remote.
