When playing cd games on the computer, and the game tries to go to another menu, such as quitting a game and going back to the game's main menu, the screen gets a green color to it. The game will not play, and the only thing I can do is manually shut down the computer. It isn't a specific game, as this has happened with several discs. This problem doesn't happen at any other time I am using the computer.

try this & see if it helps Monitor settings for windows 7
1. Start menu
2. Control panel
3. Hardware & sound
4. Power options
5. Choose which settings you want & then go to the change plan settings
6. Choose which setting you want to run your monitor
7. Then save changes
Um, its because your useing the monitor too much. if you keep it up your monitor will break due the the high graphics of warcraft. and it will **** to have to buy a new one :D so i suggest you stop playing so much
Are you playing the game from a computer or a video game system? 800 x 600 res is fine if it's a PC. If you have a video game system, then you have to go into the video game system's menu, ans select resolution of 480i - only on ps3 or xbox, however.
The problem is probably related to it showing the wrong video card. I would see if there is any help for everquest on changing that and if you cannot figure it out I would reinstall the game and that should fix your problem, keep in mind that you may have to uninstall in order to reinstall properly.
This sounds like your Video card might not be compatible with the game you are playing. You might need a better video card. Before you do anthing else, check to see if your computer is fast enough to play it.
Big games can crash slow computers, also it could just be a bad monitor.
Try checking the cord between the monitor and the computer.
Yep. Sounds like one of the buttons is shorting out and causing the icon to pop up. You can try canned air. If your good with tools, See if you can take the bezal(the plastic part around the screen) apart to clean the button contacts.
