SOURCE: Error Message - Failed to get data for SchemeAC
This is generated by a program that is run at start-up and it is being denied access to a resource due to the permissions of the user. As long as it isn't a critical app (probably isn't), you can just ignore it or if your feel courageous, you can investigate by downloading autoruns.zip from the Microsoft website. It is a utility developed by SysInterrnals (bought by MS s few years back) that will display every program that starts up through entries in the registry, start-up files (autoexec.bat), and a host of other ways. By going to the Logon tab, you can see what was started when this user logged into the system. Look for anything that says SchemeAC and disable it. Log out and login again. The error message should not appear. This needs to be done for the current user only, not the Administrator.
SOURCE: Hp pavilion dv9000 wont boot, coloured lines appear no bootscreen
This is caused by burn out of the Nvidia graphics chip on the motherboard. You need a new motherboard. This is due to a design flaw (the subject of a class action against HP in the USA). I have had two motherboards fail on me in this way so far - do not expect any worthwhile support from the HP "support" people they are all in India and can hardly communicate outside of their simple repetative scripts. Its impossible to escape them - I tried communicating with head office but all you get is contact details back to the incomprehensible Indian call centre. I strongly recommend against ever purchasing from HP again.

It's not reading your HDD, either it is bad or a a setting got changed in your bios. If you you turn it on and press the F2 key right after you turn it on. This will take you to your BIOS setup without changing anything just yet look for HDD settings or just the listing of the HDD and if it is set to boot first if not change it to boot first. Now save the settings and exit the BIOS, if still the same error message. If you have a system restore disk or better yet a disk of your operating system. You will have to go back into BIOS and change the HDD back to boot after the cd drive. Then insert the operating system disk and see if it finds your hard drive. If it can't find your HDD, it's probably for sure. If it finds it and gives you the option to continue, you could fallow installation instructions and partition your HDD if it's big enough, then copy off your files to cd, ETC. Then just do another install this time choosing to format the HDD, you will also have to delete the partition you made. Then install everything transfer your files you copied off and your done hopefully. Good Luck, please reply to this post if you have more questions.
