Konka TV problems

I have a 21" Konka television that is 20 months old. Model K2166EZ.
When i turned it on the other morning, the picture was shrunk and eventually turned off. it then did not turn on again until later that day. it struggled to turn on, but eventually came on. after a while however the picture will distort and shrink and eventually there will be no picture at all. i try to turn the TV back on with the remote but it wont turn on. if i leave it for a while i can turn it back on but soon after the same will happen. what is the problem? is it easy to fix? and will it be expensive?
