Re: My port 2 is blocked

If you are talking about port 25 go to the and request it unblocked. Takes about 12-24 hours max. You fill out an abuse request.

Follow the directions here, if the alternate port doesn't work then click the link and follow the directions.

if you cant find the host file, please go to your folder options and UNTICK "hide protected operating system files"

2. After locating the hosts file, right click it, properties, UNTICK read only if it is read only to make sure we can edit it.

Some sites not open

This problem may not be from internet explorer. Confirm from you administrators that those site are not blocked or that you did not configure port blocking on your systems firewall. It cold also be the internet connection speed you have to those sites.

Winfax client could not connect to host computer

This error occurs for many different reasons, mainly it could be a firewall or anti-virus blocking ports that WinFax uses for fax sharing, or it could be Service Pack 2 or 3 that was installed that causes these ports to be blocked.

It also could be that you installed version 10.04 overtop an older version like 10.02, which will cause problems.

Here is where you can start,

Down loading

If you are running a firewall - or you are running Windows XP SP2 which includes the Windows Firewall, then that port is most likely blocked.

You will need to unblock the port by going to the Control Panel -> Windows Firewall. Click on the Exceptions tab and then click on the Add Port button.
