The machine has worked fine for a couple years, and has recently been decalcified using vinegar. Now the flow of coffee has slowed to a dribble -- which could be the grind this time from the coffee store -- but also the steam does not seem to be as strong and the milk gets slightly bubbly but not frothy. Also, coffee is not as hot as it had been.
-   i ran through the vinegar and noticed a bunch of manganese and iron scale coming out with the rinse water. presently i am using saeco descaling tablets to clean out the machine. however, i find that it overheats and stops pumping after about 500mL of liquid. i just run some thorugh, stop and let it soak/work. then turn it on again to run more though or rinse water.
i am on my second descaling tablet, and rinse. i will let you know if it works out for us-   cinnamon_g
