Question about Hotpoint First Edition WMA20 Front Load Washer
The machine stops after the wash cycle and doesn't go on to the spin stage. It spins fine if you then manually select a spin-only cycle (although sometimes you need to put it through spin a couple of times).
You need to check your carbon brushes need to be more than 8ml in length now what you also need to do is withthe washer empty fill it up with water on any cycle now put it on the empty cycle make sure it fully emptys the water b checking if the door opens after spin cycle finishes if it doesnt then your pump is either blocked or the fan in the centre of the inside of the pump is weak under pressure which means it needs replacing if none of these then it will be your timer that is faulty which if its a old type washer its not worth replacing the timer m8 sorry these are the only faults that it can be let me know what u find m8
