I have a Charmglow model HBL-15SDLP/M20 electric heater. The rocker switch went bad on it and I can't find a replacement part anywhere. The manufacturer said they can't get replacement parts. The part number is HCKD-044. Any suggestions

The switch itself is a (double pole single throw ) 15 amp 250 volt /20 amp 125 volt.You can buy any switch like that.The hard part is trying to find the same size to fit the hole in the heater.
Yeah same problem here with heater switch. Almost caused a fire in our house. After taking the unit apart to take out the switch we noticed the wires connecting to the fan switch were all black and melted! Be carefull with this heater!
They fan on our unit is making noises, does anyone have a unit that they have given up on?
pdees246 Same model #, same problem with the rocker switch. Luckily the switch is stuck on the on position, so we plug it in and then unplug when finished. Any suggestions for parts?

Guest We purchased the same unit in the fall of 2008 and 2 months ago the fan power switch totally fried and almost caused a fire in our home. We are looking for another switch for the unit as well and have run into the same problem with the company not having any parts.
