Do you mean audio hissing sound or is there smoke coming out the back?
In what sources does the hiss occur?
Audio hiss with the FM tuner selected would mean it's between stations or you don't have an antenna. Try tuning around the band with an antenna attached.
Try other inputs. Select AUX (assuming nothing is attached). That would prove if the hiss originates internally or not. We need some isolation to make any sense of this.
Does anything work correctly?
You know what FM hiss sounds like, is it like that?
Does the volume affect it?
What about indicators - any clues there?
