Does a flashing yellow light on a wireless mouse mean that the battery is dying?

As a general rule yes.
Depends on the manufacturer as to what color(s) are used.
Flashing or blinking the led light is to get your attention before the batteries or battery is completely drained. Fresh batteries on mine I get a steady green led light. Gets low it slowly fades in and out green. Good luck hope this helps...

I bought a microsoft arc mouse, wireless, with a USB transmitter, just a month ago and it was working perfectly, then suddenly and i mean SUDDENLY, stopped working, no reason it just happened, the light...

Hello, have you tried changing the batteries in your mouse? They are probably dead or dying and that is why it is not working. Also, try restarting the computer. If you cannot even use a regular wired usb mouse, there may be something going on. Try changing the batteries, restarting the computer, and using a regular usb and a regular PS/2 mouse.

Thanks for using FixYa!

Cordless mouse suddenly stopped working

I have had the laser fail in some of these mouse's. I have also had the batteries fail. I have seen cracked circuit boards from the mouse being dropped.

You mentioned that you changed the batteries. I am assuming that you tried new batteries that you know are good.

Technicaly, there are no servicable parts inside of these mice. If the fault is something very simple it can usualy be serviced.
