Hotpoint aquarius1100 electrical prob.

My machine has just been moved from one house to another 4th floor flat today, and upon using it it seemed to work fine then it tripped the switch on that circuit ,it then seemed to work fine to just spin if i put it on that part of the cycle.now about half hour later it trips off immediately that i turn the power on,first time it happened it actually had time and i could hear it start filling then it tripped after 2 minutes or so. Each time i tried after it got shorter and shorter till noe it just shorts out.

You say tripped the switch?... are you talking about a circuit breaker???.. I was thinking maybe you have a bad breaker... If you had no problem before... maybe try in a differt plug in reciptical... if the washer has a short.. hard to find sometimes..like looking for needle in hay stack..

Did any water spill out when u loaded it??
did you try a new place to plug in...making sure not a bad breaker?

well maybe start at the water valves... you said it started to fill and then triped the breaker?.. so that means nothing else had power at that time just the w. valves... unplug the cold see if hot will work visa virsa

Hi, indecit idce845uk switch on machine 4th light red when i start cycle 30sec lights flash green except 4th light which flashes red and i get fault f10, Ive changed t/stats and the heating element

Found this on the web for you: http://www.whitegoodshelp.co.uk/indesit-or-hotpoint-washing-machine-flashing-10-times-error-f10/

There may be other pertinent answers on the web.

It seems to be related to water pressure. Check the supply, clean the internal filter, and see it it has any impact on the problem.

Problem could be a controller board failure or a electric valve too, but you will need a repairman for these unless you are VERY handy (in which case you would not be asking).

We recently bought a new Hotpoint WMF760P washing machine and within a couple of weeks of using it noticed that it kept tripping all of the electrics out in the house, when it goes into it's final fast...

I have seen this before with a number of machines when they were a little overloaded. I've never been convinced that I understood why it happened, though I always suspected a motor overload of some kind causing the issue. This said. There is absolutely no reason for a machine to trip the mains unless it's faulty.

If you have a friendly neighbour who doesn't mind you killing the power in their house, you could always run an extension lead from a neighbour to your house and see if it kills their power too. But like I say, at the end of the day, if it trips the power and you have your electrics checked, then I would INSIST that you get a replacement from Hotpoint. Things that use water and electricity are not to be messed with!

If you can move the machine by a outside door and place the drain hose flat on the floor to outside and machine should drain out.

Electrical problem??

There is obviously an electrical short that is causing the prob.Could be motor, heater, anything really.
With the call out charge and any parts req'd, you could easily be looking at a bill in eccess of £100, possibly more.
Long term, it might be better for you to replace the appliance.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Hotpoint washing machine keeps tripping electric

First unplug your washer. Check the ground on the washer and make sure it isn't loose; this would be a good time to inspect the wiring harness for any problems. Next check the outlet (turn off the electric to that breaker first) make sure all the wires are tight and are making good contact; pay special attention to the neutral (white) wire. If that seems fine, and you are comfortable with going into you breaker panel, turn off that breaker and check the hot (the wire on the breaker) to make sure it isn't loose and then check the neutral wire. If either of these wires seem loose tighten them down....a loose wire will move when a load is put on it and cause the breaker to trip. If all seems normal and washer is still tripping the breaker you might want to replace the breaker.....they can go bad. Good luck!

Water still leaking

Look at and examine the door seal closely for any sign of a hole or tear in it.
If none is visible then it could be the clamp or spring that holds the seal to the drum front that is causing the prob..
Other than that , there could be a crack or hole in the container front.

Check your drain pipe behind. This is supposed to be approx 3 feet above ground level; then the hose goes into the stand-pipe without being too tight. If this does not work, click "thanks for trying"; your prob will be back for someone else to solve.
