HP dvd 940 i lightscribe---tray sticks

I have an HP dvd 940 i lightscribe---the tray sticks in the closed position much of the time---then suddenly without warning it will work and allow me to insert and retrieve dvds---then it sticks again--- sometimes for days---any help would be appreciated---luv the drive, but the sticking is driving me crazy

underneath the tray there should be this little hole. if you see that hole insert a pin in it, and the press the eject button and push in the pin at the same time. that should make it work
