GE Blender Jar loose rotator
Gurus,
I have a GE Die Cast Blender (Model#169106) which is 6 months old. The rotator/blade assembly has become loose such that it can be pulled up and down a bit. This leaves a big enough gap and causes a leakage. This blender cannot be used until I can fix it with your help.
fyi: The blender motor base is leakproof and I have noticed some black sooty material/deposits on the base.

- Update: GE products have a 2 year warranty. GE customer service asked to take the product back to Walmart and have them replace the unit. Ask for Store Manager if the return associate does not agree.Same Problem

- I went through 6 of these blenders in less than 18 months. Save your time and hassle and get rid of the thing and stay well away. They crush ice very well but burn up very quickly.- GuestSolution #1

Remove the bottom clean the unit fully. Add the bottom blad assebly and this will fix your problem. The "sooty" is plastic shavings. Take note that the fitting were the "jar" connects to the motor that this is not wearing away. The unit i have broke and i am unable to find a replacement blade assembly.
