Question about Zenith B27A11Z 27" TV

1 Answer

Looking for a replacement part

I have a Zenith B27A30ZC5 that stopped working. There is a burned out part, board number CZ 3212 or LG# 022-08386-05. All of the parts list online show it to be no longer available. Does anyone know where to get one still or a comparable replacement? Thanks.

There is a burned capacitor cx3210 and melted thermister thx3415 in Zenith B36A24Z Can dirt cause this problem from overheating or arcing?

When more dust accumulate, and absorbs moisture from the atmosphere, ther is a chance to get arcing. Clean the device by using a vaccum cleaner if possible. Burned degaussing coil cannot be repaired. It should be replaced along with degaussing posistor.

The board that is burned - most likely the power board. The exact part number for it is printed directly on it. Use the number to order it at the dealer.

The thermocouple burned out on my Mom's 32" Zenith A32B86R TV, it is a couple hundred miles away from me but my brother sent a picture of the board. Anyone know the part number of the thermocouple? It's...

You are talking about a thermistor. A small shiny disk, correct? You may use an RCA replacement part for your Zenith. A very common fix. And that part# is 207768. This replacement is a dark burgandy or dark orange and has a covering on it. Quite the contrast to the shiny silver disk you have. But I assure you this will work. If you have this board out, I suggest you change a few capacitors. There are some bad ones in there by now. Find someone with a capacitor checker to find them and replace them. Also resolder all grounds on power resistors and transistors, take note on anything fastened to a heatsink. This TV will give you a few more years of its time! You have the board out may as well check it out! Good Luck!

Zenith M# Z32H96R has burned out cx3231&cx3222 also RX3277. These are visibly burned. Don't know what caused this or if there is other underlying problem.

I took chassis to a reputable tv repair co. . This was quicker and more reliable than responses from here. Plus they have bench test equip I don't and will test entire board for proper function.

It doesnt work..

This is most likely a burned Thermistor in the A/C part of the circuit board. Common for older Zenith TV's.
