I turned my tv off today and then tried to turn it back on with no luck. I have checked the power. There is nothing around the tv to cause the failure. Could it possibly be a fuse and if so how would I change it? Any other ideas. Thank you.

Re: tv will not turn on
Yes, it is most likely the fuse. I have seen many of the fuses in those Panasonics "pop" for no apparent reason. If you feel comfortable, you can replace that fuse yourself. Carefully remove the back, follow the AC power cord and where the AC cord attaches to the PC board will be a small glass fuse. It is most likely a GMA 6.3A fuse. Replace that fuse and the set should work. If the original fuse is good or if the new fuse blows out too, have the set serviced by a qualified tech.

Yes it is definitely time for a new tv. If you live near a populated area just go on your local craigslist and you can get great used televisions for quite cheap. I have seen nice 36" tv's sell for 50$ and less. Thank you and good luck, Lee
Try this: unplug the power cord from the wall, let TV set stand for AT LEAST 30 minutes, then plug back in and and see if the TV operates as normal. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. Good luck !
can u do repairing or have you ever troubleshoot the issue by yourself. if yes, then open the cover and check the continuety of the power cable because it can be the damage cable. if all of then check the fuse inside the circuit board where the main power cord goes. the must be a glass fuse. Check is it in working condition means having continuty too. if this component is ok then u have to check the other circuitry.
