have no signal even with antenna. im sing a universal remote control coz original remote was lost. i tried using the tuning program but its asking for a pin code which i don't know.
how can i get a signal and get all channels for my tv. it's a sharp tv model 37AM-23H.
please help me...im realy confused about it.

- This is an SDTV, a new purchase. Manual for startup suggests channel search first. When attempted, I received the message "no signal." I checked this at Philips support site, and they address this as follows: 1) Be certain all connections are secure; 2) Do you have the right tuner? (I have no idea what a tuner is). When I attempt to channel search by individual channel...see example that follows: Click on channel 2 -- no signal; use Channel+ to search for next channel at which point the screen(s) that come up are: Front, AVI, CVI. I'm using the same wall connection that I used with my previous TV, and that worked just fine. In fact, I've hooked it up again...it's not great, but better than nothing until I can resolve this problem.- dayz43Best Solution

I had a similar problem, and my solution was this: I pressed menu on my TV and using my universal remote, went into setup, and then channel search (or near to that), at which point it began searching for analog and digital channels. This can take up to approx. 30 minutes. I suggest you occupy yourself while waiting; it is a sluggish process.
If you want assurance, your TV will have the majority of analog channels (basic cable), and a couple digital. I am basing this wholly on my experience, however. Once finished, it should switch immediately so a channel. Mine was a weather station.
I hope this is successful in helping you and those in the future.
