- I have the same problem with a dv6t844b dvd freeze. The counter continues but the screen is froze. If you wait long enough it will continue to play for a few seconds and then freeze again. I've contacted Daewoo at:Customer Service Contact Point

- I have borrowed and received several movie disks that freeze up in the same place every time I play them. In fact, a friend made numerous DVD copies of a private videotape. Each one of them freezes in the same place - so it's not a cleaning issue.- seb1525

- Same problem here. Frequent pauses even with brand new discs. Tried one of those disk cleaner things, and the pauses come less often, but still annoyingly often enough. Any ideas?- robnorth
