I have a I-Inc CY199D 19'' LCD monitor.
Earlier today it developed horizontal gray lines scrolling from the bottom to the top of the screen. I checked the monitor with the signal cable unplugged and the lines are still present. I tried a different power outlet, thinking it could have been a ground issue on my UPS. I also connected another monitor to my computer to triple check that it was the monitor and not the video card.
The speed of the ''scanning'' changes depending on what is on the screen. I can get the lines to stand still if a certain percentage of the screen is covered in white (notepad, etc)
I also tried resetting the monitor to default settings, to no avail, as well as trying different refresh rates and resolutions, the problem is consistant throughout all modes.
All I can guess now is it's a power problem internally, causing a ripple, but I have no idea where to look inside.
Has anyone else had this issue? Have a fix?
