Re: have a f1195A hp wanting to plug it in my laptop

The HP f1195A floppy drive includes an extendable serial connector cord. However, the serial connector is NOT standard and is not compatible with any other manufacturer's computer. You can buy a cheap (around $20) USB floppy drive from CompUSA or most other vendors. USB drives are compatible with 99.9% of computers out their.

I have a Lenovo laptop recently bought a portable USB floppy disk reader the install is for Windows 98 XP and 7 how can I get a driver for 2013?

Most USB devices today have the driver built into the firmware of the device, so if you have a modern Operating system (Windows 7 or later) it should simply plug in and work. If you have XP SP1 is also should work but a little more iffy... if it didn't plug and play, I'd send it back.

Have a HP ...the keyboard is frozen, will not let you type. Cat layed on th keyboard. Help!!!

Check to make sure all the buttons are bouncy and not stuck down. If all the buttons seem OK then it may be broken and you will need to replace it. Try a USB keyboard to make sure the laptop is still working correctly.

Hp pavillion ze5200 works on external monitor but not on laptop screen

there is something wrong with either your screen or screen inverter.

If you are not a laptop expert, I would advice that you take the laptop to a repairer that will help you diagnose the main fault so that you can either repair or replace either the inverter or screen.

Good luck.

Your thinking is correct wiggle the connector in the back where you plug in the ac adapter and see if the charge light goes off and on, then you have a defective dc jack and will stop working altogether shortly. What happens is that over time the connections come unsoldered or one of the legs breaks. It costs about $75.00 to replace.

Hp ze 5200

This could be one of many things, the best thing to do if you want to find out for free is take it to a computer repair shop and ask for an estimate for repair, usually all estimates are free.. however do ask!

before taking it there do try changing the fuse in the plug for the power supply if possible...
