Question about Compaq Presario 2100T Notebook
I have an older compaq notebook that clicks when you turn it on and won't proceed from the bios options screen
The clicking sound may be a damaged hard drive and the clicking will probably be the parking head trying to park or the platelettes trying to be read. After the bios has done it's initial P.O.S.T.(power on self test) the processor takes over to make the change from bios to processor and then it will look to the drive for the boot.ini to start up windows.
