After a power serge caused by the local power

After a power serge caused by the local power authority we can not open the door to our ASKO W6021 - we have washing locked in the machine and want to take it out before the machine is taken away to be assessed by the insurance.

prise open the samll square door at the bottom left using the divider in the soap drawer. Once open extract the red loped handle and pull on it ot manually open the door.
