- I had a problem with the washer draining. I took the panel off the bottom, drained it and pulled out the "drain pump filter". Lots o' stuff in it, lint, money, candy wrappers, key etc. and There are 4 metal "beads". I'm wondering if they are "ball bearings" and need to stay in the "drain pump filter"? Does anyone know if they are part of the washer or if they are one of the kids amo?- GuestNov 21, 2007

you have got a blocked filter or pump the filter is located on the right hand side at the front of the machine down the bottom behind the plinth you can drain the water from there as well by pulling the small grey hose out pull the plug out of the end and place in a small bowl good luck when the water is out you can check the pump impeler
