Question about InFocus Proxima UltraLight LX2 Multimedia Projector
My Proxima Lx2 has a slight darkening or shading of the image in the upper part of the projected image. I have replaced the bulb and it had no effect on either computer or video imput images. In addition, I opened up the unit and cleaned out any dust that might be inhibiting the unit (there was very little). It almost appears as a slight shading on the top of the image on both the right and left sides. It has not gotten any worse since it first appeared, but it is noticiable. I have also noticed a very slight and fast shake of the video and computer image
Either the fly-eye lens or the light polarizer is fried due to excessive dust and heat. bad news: you'll have to replace the entire optical engine. worse news: infocus doesn't make them anymore. sorry.
