Need Instruction Manual for Jane Matrix Lie-Flat car seat
A friend is buying this car seat from me and I can't find the full fitting instruction leaflet - does anyone know of one on-line? Or have a PDF version? Many thanks.
Re: Need Instruction Manual for Jane Matrix Lie-Flat car...
I think the instructions you get with this seat are really poor - the best place to find them is on U-tube. There is a full demonstration of how to fit the seat in both the lie flat and rear facing mode. I have followed this for both modes and it is really easy to understand.
Hope this helps!

I would suggest that you contact www.johnstonprams.co.uk for a little help as this is a bit difficult to explain in text. You will need to buckle up both back (outer) seat belts in the car, then take a length of webbing from the lapbelt, this then loops through the adapter that you have. Alternatively, take a look on YouTube for an instruction movie.
I assume you are referring to the Matrix Pro Car Seat that lays flat? You can fit this in two different ways. To fit it sitting upright, make sure it is in the most upright position and facing the back of the car. Pass the lap belt underneath the car seat itself, through the blue catches, then plug it in. The long part of the seat belt goes around the back of the car seat through the blue catch nearest you. Pull it all really tight and it should be more secure. To fit the car seat laying flat, this depends on your car. It needs to use two 3 point seat belts. 2 point seat belts don't work. Plug in both seat belts, and pull the lap belt part through the silver catch on both side. Pull as tight as you can. To make car seat fitting more secure, try placing a slip mat like the Sunshine Kids Grip It or Super Mat underneath to hold it in place. These are all crash tested and safe.
To fit the Jane Capazo Carrycot succesfully, this depends on your car. It needs to use two 3 point seat belts. 2 point seat belts don't work. Plug in both seat belts, and pull the lap belt part through the red catch on both side. Pull as tight as you can. To make car seat fitting more secure, try placing a slip mat like the Sunshine Kids Grip It or Super Mat underneath to hold it in place. These are all crash tested and safe.
I BOUGHT BRAND NEW NANIA CAR SEAT BUT NO INSTRUCTIONS, FROM ARGOS!! YOU NEED TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURES WHO ARE CALLED Team-Tex and the uk contact no. for them is 0116 284 4910, they will send you the manual that you need.
The best instructions I have found (as I have the same car seat!) were on YouTube. These instructions are really clear as they are in video format and they show you how to fit the seat in both the lie fat and rear facing mode.
In terms of the harness, you may or may not be aware that there a number of adjustments that can be made. The first is that you are able to adjust the positioning of the straps within the seat so that the child is not overhanging the seat. In addition the straps themselves lengthen by adjustment with the buckles on the straps.
I think all of these adjustments are in the instruction manual, which is available on line from the manufacturer if you have lost it.
Hope this helps!
