You could have a defective switch or a defective display. Check as best you can to see if the switch is being depressed by the door when its closed. Check to see if it works, hold the door open and depress the switch yourself and see if the light goes out. If the light stays on you need a new switch. if the switches seems to work ok you make need a new display board.

Water dispensing solenoid is bad. You need to replace the solenoid valve. This typically is independent of the ice maker.

Pull the ice bin forward about 3 inches.
Then re-insert the bin until it locks in place.

I see that you would like to know how to adjust the temperature within your Electrolux refrigerator, EI23CS55GS1. To adjust the temperature you would use the control panel on the front of the freezer door. There should be a "-"or "+" near the freezer temperature control and that is how you would adjust the temperature within your refrigerator. Be sure to check and make sure that the control lock is not on or you will not be able to adjust the temperature. Any adjustments made within the refrigerator need at least 24 hours to stabilize.
