I downloaded them from verizon as sounds like it said to. Then I cannot open them or select them as a ringtone
To get FREE ringtones you need a Usb Cable for your phone and you need 2 software programs.
1. Motorola Update software
2. P2K Commander.
First run the MSU then the P2K. browse the directories and find your other ringtones and place what mp3s you want there.
Next you must delete a few files that determine what sounds you paid for and which you didn't. They are Mytone.DB and 2 others I dont recall atm. Once these are deleted you reboot your phone and those 3 files regenerate themselves but NOW THEY DO NOT KNOW WHICH FILES TO BLOCK. So now all your music you put on the phone can be set as a ringtone. Its a learning curve to do this just be patient and read up on it. GL

purchased ringtone form verizon online. they were sent to my phone. i cannot save them or set them as ringtones. i called customer service and was told this phone does not have the capability to use ringtones (only can set the ones that come with the phone... ) i found this odd as the website clearly sates you can buy ringtones/download them to this phone but guess not. this is bull.
