When I take a photo it dies immediately after taking the picture - and doesn't store the image.

- I have a Fuji E550 and photo's taken recently have a large white rectangular 'patch' in the centre of photo. The video recording is ok as is viewing of previously taken photo's.Any ideas please. It's been a good camera upto now and I don't want to bin it.

CCD FAILURE !!! it starts with overexposed pics and purple and pink shaded pics dont worry
Good news is u can always ask for free CCD replacement from FUJI i got it for S5000 even it was outof warranty and was not on service advisory list u have to call and askthem or email in ur region see the link for the problem
