Re: Problem with pcx5750
Hi, sounds simple to me, Not enough RAM for what you are asking from your system.
I would go to at least 1Gb RAM and if you can afford it 2Gb RAM,
you can never have too much RAM but you most certainly can have too little.

Hi patto1974, this is a good Model Graphics Card, for the ASUS Motherboard that you have. ASUS is one of the leading Manufacturers in "Gaming Computers; so you want to have a Graphics Card to compliment the system. This is the (Model): "HIS- H467QS1GHA Radeon HD 4670 IceQVideo Card 1GB GDDR3 AGP, DVI, VGA,HDMI Item#: H231-4678 ' Model#: H467QS1GHA." You can find this "Model at Tiger Direct, along with other models. Use AGP x8 as the reference search!
Have you checked the bios to see if onboard graphics have been disabled.
You may also have your resolution/refresh rate set to high for the new monitor.
Boot into safe mode (F8 on boot)
This will boot with minimal drivers, your monitor should now come on, if it does then go to you display settings and lower the resolution and refresh rates.
If it does not come on in safe mode, try hook up the old monitor, or another monitor to reduce the resolution
This is probably a common problem, you are not getting enough power from the Power Supply Unit. What you should do is to buy a PSU with a higher total wattage. You should also check to see if you need to plug in any PCI-e (6-pin) power connectors to the card.
hi. The amd semprom has similar to an intel celeron. These cpu's are not gaming cpu's. The graphics card you are using is now quite old- very few agp graphics cards are made now. I would say that the cpu and gpu may be the problem but it depends what game you are playing. New video cards use pci express slot and new cpu's are dual core and quad core. If you are serious abot games then you could do with a new motherboard- maybe one supporting an intel core 2 duo cpu, to that add at least a Nvidia 9600gt 512mb gddr3 video card and have 3-3 gb's of ram.
firstly you need to make sure *********** board has a PCIe slot or a AGP... this is where your ATI HD3650 will go...see the graphic 512mb has nothing to with your main system RAM which is also 512mb.. so they wont be any problems as such and both will work together without any problems... but i suggest you to add another 512mb to your system RAM.. the difference between DDR and DDR2 is that... DDR2 is a bit newer and is faster in terms of memory read/write/access... do let me know if u have any futher problems....
Yes you can run the AGP version of the Radeon 1650 pro on your system. It is always best & recommended to upgrade memory in pairs. You could upgrade to `gb by purchasing a 1 gb kit which would be 512 x 2. That way you have a matching pair of RAM modules. As for a cpu upgrade you can go to the Asus website and see what cpu's are supported by your motherboard. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.
