Hi, sounds simple to me, Not enough RAM for what you are asking from your system. I would go to at least 1Gb RAM and if you can afford it 2Gb RAM, you can never have too much RAM but you most certainly can have too little. Regards mistyman

EMachine W3507, will not boot after adding 2GB of memory. (2x 1GB; one in each slot). It will boot with one stick, but only if the original 512MG is in slot 1. The 512MB is not recognized.

Where they purchased as a working pair some motherboards will only accept working pairs>?
Make sure RAM modules are of same brand and type try one ram module at a time in the working slot closest the cpu if both work individually they are not a working pair

I just changed my monitor and my new monitor is not coming on, it works with other pcs but when i insert it in my pc which has an Nvidia pcx 5750 graphic card de monitor gets a signal but the screen is...

Have you checked the bios to see if onboard graphics have been disabled.
You may also have your resolution/refresh rate set to high for the new monitor.
Boot into safe mode (F8 on boot)
This will boot with minimal drivers, your monitor should now come on, if it does then go to you display settings and lower the resolution and refresh rates.
If it does not come on in safe mode, try hook up the old monitor, or another monitor to reduce the resolution

I have an asus p48vx-x motherboard

you may check
1) your Intel pentium 4 3.2 GHZ cpu socket 478 processor #sl7nb what's FSB?( see on the chip surface, if 533 FSB can use but 800FSB could not match your motherboard if which is not support 800 FSB. that's why no display.
2) check RAM stick speed, try to increase a level, for example 266 to 333.
is this helpful please feedback thanks
