I have had my camera for a year now and I am having the same blurry picture problem.

Ive only had mine 3months, and similarly, the image and pictures are blurred. it hasnt been dropped or anything. Pictures taken before the fault and saved on the memory are showing up in perfect focus. It looks like the image of a half megapixel camera now!!! please help!!!

I recently started getting really blurry pics and can't figure out how to fix the problem tried everything possible and nothing seems to wrk!

My pictures are blurred on the viewfinder. I have tried reseting to factory settings, but this has not helped. I have also cleaned the lens, stil the same. I always had it on the same setting prior to this and the only things I can think of is that I have not used it for a while and the battery had gone flat. Could this be a factor?

For the first couple of months my camera worked great, now i cant seem to get a clear picture. Everyone I take is extremly blurry. I emailed Casio directly and will post any new info they provide. If not I purchased the extended warrenty and will probably take the camera back and pick up a Canon!

I have the same exact problem! I havent even had the camera for a year and it worked perfectly for a couple of weeks and all of a sudden every single picture came out blurry. I work at RadioShack and I have tried EVERYTHING as far as resetting, messing around with the focus setting, etc. and have had no luck at all. I contacted Casio and hopefully they will send me a replacement, but I see that they mainly only have 90 day parts/labor warranty. So they only want the camera to function as long as the warranty :( I would not recommend Casio for a anyone!

I have had exactly the same problem. I bought the camera in Sept 07, it worked brilliantly to begin with but the blurring problem arose after a few months and soon got worse to the point of no picture at all. I had put it to one side and given up on it but today got it out and sent it off to Casio to look at. It is now well out of guarantee but I hope the pictures will prove that it failed while still within guarantee.

I've had the same model since May, and I've never dropped it.  I've read the manual, turned it on & off again, and reset AF again.  I just wanted to thank you for the post because when I send it in to the manufacturer I can show I'm not the only one.

Make sure you are doing it all correctly by deep study of the manual. Has it been set to Macro for example.? Are you taking in low light[slow speed] conditions and getting camera shake? If you are satisfied you are are doing all that you can- Take it back for replacement - take a blurry print with you to prove the point

My Casio EXILIM EX-Z70 Digital Camera turns on and take pictures and everything but the pictures come out blurry. Any way I can fix it ?

Make sure the lens is clean. Exhale on it and wipe carefully with a lens tissue. You also may want to set the "image quality" setting to "High."

Blurry pictures

IF YOUR PICTURES ARE BLURRY IN THE LCD, THEN YOU MOST LIKELY DO HAVE A PROBLEM. WAS THIS CAMERA BOUGHT ON AN AUCTION OR SECOND HAND, THAT YOU ARE NOT SURE IF IT WAS DROPPED? IF IT WAS DROPPED, IT MAYBE REPAIRABLE, BUT REPAIRS ARE USUALLY EXPENSIVE AND SOMETMES IT'S BETTER TO INVEST IN A NEWER CAMERA. SORRY, BUT I DON'T WANT YOU SHOCKED BY REPAIR ESTIMATES. FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND OUT, THE REPAIR COST WILL EXCEED THE COST OF THE CAMERA. SORRY. SO, CHECK THE LCD AND IF THE PICTURE THERE IS ALSO BLURRY, THE CAMERA PROBABLY HAS BEEN DROPPED AND OCCURRED SHOCK DAMAGE . IF THE LENS WAS OUT WHEN IT WAS DROPPED, YOU MIGHT TRY TO GENTLY PULL ON THE LENS WITH THE CAMERA ON. THIS SOMETIMES WILL ALIGN THE LENS AGAIN. HOPE THIS HELPS. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP, REPLY TO ARCLIGHT1217. IT THIS WAS HELPFUL, PLEASE RATE!
THANKS!

Casio Exilim EX-Z75 Showing colorfull blotches on...

Try doing this.....

Turn the camera on and in picture taking mode press menu. Go to the 3rd tab (setup) and then go down to reset. Press right and make sure ok is highlighted and press the select button. Then try taking some more pictures and see if that helps. If not then that would be something that would have to be sent in for repairs.

Casio Exilim z75 - unable to take pictures

Try shutting off your flash and see if it still does that. It sounds like you have a problem with your flash not charging correctly. You can try resetting the camera but I doubt if that will help. I would try just shutting the flash off and see if that would help.

I have a Casio EX 260, not the EX-S600

Try resetting camera. If that doesn't work more than likely there is a lens error. 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 2 and they will tell you where to send it.
