Lcd problem nokia7610

Welcome to Fixya. The price of the repair will depends on the service center if the only thing that is damage is the LCD or just the connector you also need to keep in mind the labor for the repair man. You won't loose the photos inside since the LCD is just the only part that will be replaced not the software. Just remind the repair man not to format the phone so that you will not loose all the data on the phone.

hello dear, ok there are 2 ways to fix this problem and this is a hardware problem mostly. first of all this is due to hard fall of ur handset, which shake the lcd chip, by pressing this chip will resolve this problem. otherwise u have to change the LCD of ur mobile phone.

switch off the phone first then press *+3+call key at a time then switch on your phone then the screen shows formatting... it may take few minutes,,, please be patient after the formatting completes the phone will switch off automatically and switch on automatically

well , does ur pda ever fall? or get into water?

cause it might cause ur LCD screeen to be broken, but if ur pda ever got into water, ur component inside might be broken.

If one of above occured, u have to bring it to technician,unless you know how to replace a LCD or the other component.

if none of above occured, then u have a software problem, you need to flash it (put a fresh software in it), which you had to bring it to technician too, but it might cost much little than if you had problem on the LCD and component.

Did you unlock the control keys? If you see an icon of a padlock on the screen you have locked out the buttons and need to unlock it. Look at the buttons and you will see the buttons have lines drawn from one to another. That means when those two buttons are pressed together, they perform a special function. To unlock the buttons you have to press two of the buttons that have the lock symbol drawn to them.

you have to flash/ format your fhone using tornado/ twiter box or jaf, because the software of your phone was corrapted
