Pocket pc is in japanese or korean or some other....can u help me change it to english?

suspect you may have acquired a Japanese (-and-Korean-and-perhaps-Chinese) -language-only model.
But in any case, language changing is usually the first screen on initial setup. If you get a screen of language with two buttons, on the lower left and on the lower right, you probably should select the left-hand button, then select one of (possibly three) languages. English being prodominant, the left-most button of three would be one to choose, if you have a model that can be set to English at all.
The initial setup screen with language choices, will probably be what you get once you reset the device to factory settings.

Hello, you can flash your phone with ROM provided by HP if you are with Windows Mobile 6.

You can find your Product ID by going here:

If your Product ID match with these download ROM Update from Manfufactures web site and update your Pocket PC.

Just select your language: Chinese (Simplified); Chinese (Traditional); English (International); French; German; Italian ;Japanese; Korean; Portuguese (Brazilian); Russian; Spanish, from download section for your pocket pc.

It`s around a 38MB. Install it on your desktop machine and follow instructions provided by ROM Update program.

This is not new operating system installation, it`s just language update to your current installation.

How to use information, you can find on this section in manufactures web site.

I do not test it on this phone, use it with caution and on your own risk.

you need to download from hp website english rom image
and you need to change first 3 bytes ins,de rom image with hex editor
when you open rom image with hex editor you can see first 3 bytes ENG means English language and your device have Korean language KOR so you need to change first 3 bytes orginal English language to KOR and save it and update your device rom image via USB

to change language press on the blue icon on the top of screen (the one with a wrench) and press the 6th icon, the one that has 4 stripes with an E, a chinese smbol, a japanese smbol and a korean symbol (will you be able to differ between those 4?)

Need hexeditor.
1.Open kernel.nb0 file
2.Go to offset 0x1012 and u find 0x09 (english) change it to 0x0C (japanese).
3.Now when you flash the english rom will not say anymore that invalid language it will see it as a japanese rom
4.After flash the pocket pc it will reset , and the english rom it will start You still have the old japanese bootloader
