Typically on any self cleaning oven, remove the racks and any pots/pans etc and wipe any excessive food stuffs etc from the bottom and set it for 3 hours.

Oven door remains locked after self clean cycle - but the oven has cooled

Number one Tip, NEVER use self cleaning cycles. They only exist to break ovens and sell parts.

Try disconnecting the mains after about 10 minutes of cool down time. If that doesn't work, you will need a service call to correctly diagnose if the lock solenoid has failed or you need a new control board.

Need help with diagnosis and repair of Smeg oven

It could be the switch, but also check for chaffed wiring where the wires pass close to or through metal. The vibration of the fan cause the insulation to wear through. The wires are glass coated which frays and exposes the plastic below. If you have used the cleaning cycle, that is also a reason for these failures. Number 1 tip, NEVER use self cleaning cycle

Engineer is a solution.
The other solution is;

Switch 3 times between rotisserie and pyrolysis or bread baking setting and pyrolysis.

As acknowledgement the displays are actuated.

At each change of operating modes switch immediately stops the current test step and the next step of the test enabled. The oven light should according to the mode ON or OFF; that is, at pyrolysis OFF otherwise ON.

Smeg oven is "locked", needs unlocking or resetting

Use a flashlight and look into the hole from where you normally feel hot airflow. Locate the hook holding the door on the left side. Using a thin screwdriver or a knife gently push the hook to the left. Voila! The door is open and functions are back working normally. Also known as Error 4 interlock problem. This will depends on the model of the oven
