Generally, when you scan a document, it is a photo of the item. You can use a photo editor to enlarge then save the enlargement, once done, file, send to, email recipient, this should attach the scan as an attachment

Make sure that the item being scanned is lying flat against the scanner's glass. If the scanned image is still fuzzy after adjusting the object, clean the scanner glass with a lint-free cloth and some vinegar or ammonia-free window cleaner.

try to uninstall then reinstall the driver. to do that go type device manager in run box in XP and start search in Vista/ Win 7, and look for the scanner. right click and uninstall. then load the driver from the website or from the cd that came with your device..

Hi, scan at around 350dpi, save the image file as a jped and then import it into word or other program that will accept jpegs and you can make the image as big as you want up to A4 or letter size (depending on the paper size you use

it could be your not scanner in a high enough resolution. I believe negatives have a 1000 dpi.
