How to change to a different date in advanced booting options

To change your system date through Advanced Booting options, you first need to enter BIOS setup menu of your system. To enter BIOS setup menu and to change your system date, you can follow the instructions below:
1.Boot your system and enter BIOS setup menu using the designated key. Though the key to enter BIOS may vary depending upon the computer manufacturer, usually keys like Delete, F12, F10, and F2 are designated to enable a user to enter BIOS setup. To know how to identify the key your system is designated to enter BIOS setup, you can refer to the image under "Method 1 of 3: Enter the BIOS" section on the following webpage:
Important: Following link is of a third-party website. We recommend you to update your security software thoroughly before clicking on the link.
http://www.wikihow.com/Change-Computer-BIOS-Settings

2.As soon as you identify the BIOS setup key, strike it rapidly and repeatedly (while the booting is on) till the time you enter BIOS setup menu. You may get just a few seconds to do this. If you are not able to enter BIOS setup menu by pressing the key repeatedly, reboot your system and follow the same steps again to enter BIOS setup menu.
Note: BIOS menu do not support mouse input. Hence, you will have to navigate through the menu using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
3.Once you enter BIOS setup menu, you can change the date of your system by going to "System Date" option. This option is generally located in the "Main" section of the menu.
Important: The layout of BIOS menu varies from manufacturer to manufacturer but most of them share a few common settings. If you are not able to detect "System Date" option in the "Main" section of the menu, you may need to look into other sections to locate the option.
To get a pictorial explanation of the above steps, you can refer to the following link:

Hope this will resolve your issue.

Reset the BIOS on a Compaq server 740 jumpers settings

Don,t do that insatead:
Entering the BIOS Setup menu Entering the BIOS Setup menu requires pressing a specific key at a specific time. If you fail to enter the Setup menu on your first try, repeat the following steps until you are successful:
  1. Close all applications that are currently running and restart the computer by clicking Start , Shut Down , Restart the Computer , and then OK .
  2. When the red Compaq logo or blue HP logo screen appears, press the F10 key on the keyboard to enter the Setup menu.

NOTE: An alternate to the above steps, especially if the logo screen disappears too quickly to enter BIOS, is to shut down (turn off) the computer. Wait 30 seconds, turn the power on and press F10 or F1 at the logo screen. Reloading the default settings Complete the following steps to reload the factory installed BIOS Setup settings:
  1. In the BIOS Setup utility, select the Exit tab.
  2. Select Load Setup Defaults .
  3. Select Save Changes and Exit (pressing F5 and the Enter key will also load the Setup Defaults).
  4. Press Esc and then Enter to exit Setup.

Bios problem i m getting in error windows loading

Typically to enter setup you only need to tap either F2 or the Delete key as soon as you turn the computer on. The splash screen will usually tell you which is the correct key. It may be called 'setup', 'BIOS' or 'BIOS Setup'. Hope this helps,

How to get bio setup if not come bio setup in ponix bios

I have some difficulty understanding your question, but you usually get to the bios on a pc by turning it on, then, during the first few seconds while it is booting, you should get an indication that you should hit the delete key (or it might say some other key) to enter Setup (your bios). Press that key (a couple times) immediately and you bios setup should come up.
Hope this helps you.
