The error code dH on your LG refrigerator is indicating a water supply problem. This could be caused by a few different issues:
Clogged or frozen water line: The water line supplying the icemaker and water dispenser may be clogged or frozen. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Check the water line and make sure that it is not clogged or frozen.
Water inlet valve: The water inlet valve that supplies water to the ice maker and dispenser may be faulty or clogged. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. You can check the water inlet valve and make sure it is functioning properly or if it is clogged.
Water filter: A clogged water filter can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. If your refrigerator has a water filter, make sure that it is not clogged and has been replaced recently.
Water pressure: If the water pressure is too low, it can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Make sure that the water pressure in your refrigerator is adequate.
You should first try to check the water line, water inlet valve, water filter, and water pressure. If none of these solutions work, please contact a professional technician or LG customer service to diagnose and fix the problem.
If your MSS25C4MGZ00 Maytag refrigerator's icemaker is not getting water, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and fix the problem:
Check the water supply: Make sure that the water supply valve to the refrigerator is fully open and not restricted. Also, check that the water supply line is not kinked or frozen.
Check the water filter: A clogged water filter can restrict the flow of water to the ice maker. Replace the water filter with a new one and check if the icemaker starts working.
Check the water inlet valve: The water inlet valve controls the flow of water to the ice maker. If the valve is defective, it may not open to allow water to flow to the ice maker. You can check the valve for continuity with a multimeter, if there is no continuity the valve needs to be replaced.
Check the icemaker control module: The icemaker control module controls the operation of the ice maker. If the module is defective, the icemaker will not function. Check the continuity of the module with a multimeter, if there is no continuity the module needs to be replaced.
Check the water pressure: Ensure that the water pressure to the refrigerator is between 20-120 psi. If the water pressure is too low, the water valve may not open to allow water to flow to the ice maker.
If you are not comfortable working on your own, it is recommended to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the problem. It is important to note that troubleshooting and repairing a refrigerator can be dangerous, so it's important to follow safety precautions and make sure you are familiar with the appliance before attempting to fix it yourself.
The problem there is going to be one of 2 related causes.
The tube in the back of the icemaker where the water enters it is partially frozen and when the water comes into the icemaker some of it is spraying into the bin instead of filling into the icemaker.Remove the icemaker and check and thaw that tube.
That tube is out of place so once again instead of water filling into icemaker correctly some of it is running into ice bucket instead of icemaker.
First, the water valve at the bottom rear of the refrigerator may have failed. You didn't mention if there is a water dispenser and whether or not this is still working. This valve pumps water to the icemaker and water dispenser when the control unit of the icemaker calls for water. Also, there could be a blockage in the line which brings the water to the icemaker.
The other possibility is that the part of the icemaker controls which calls for water from the valve has failed. If this has happened, it would likely be more cost effective to replace the icemaker unit.
I have a maytag side by side with water in the door, the cold water works but the icemaker doesn't. No water flow into the icemaker, it doesn't appear to be iced up. Can not tell if the selenoid works.
If there are ice cubes in the icemaker sitting there waiting to be dumped then the problem is in the icemaker. If the icemaker is dry then you have a water supply problem, even if you have a water in the door working.
1.Check the fill line inside the freezer at the icemaker, if it is clogged with ice then remove this ice and replace the water valve.
2. Check the water supply. Turn the water supply off, disconnect the water line from the Ref, turn the water back on an fill a small glass. If the water supply is good the solenoid on the water valve should be checked. This is done with an OHM meter.

Emptyed out freezer unit & shut it off. Took a hair dryer and blew hot air for about 3 minutes on ice maker unit just in case it had an ice block. Left door open and let is stand for about 10 minutes. Turned everything back on and it started making ice.
Hi, everak11,
Three possible solutions for you.
1: No water coming in from inlet valve. Check voltage on inlet if you have voltage and no water then replace valve.
2:Icemaker not cycleing. Lift the arm on the icemaker to shut it off and leave it for about an hour. Come back in and turn the icemake back on by lowering the arm. If the icemaker does not begin a new cycle and the arm start rising then the problem is most likely an icemaker. Replace Icemaker
3:Refrigerator not cold enough. If the freezer is not getting cold enough the icemaker will not cycle. Check the temperature in the freezer and make sure it is getting down to 0 degrees. If not then you may have another problem with your refrigerator. I hope this helps you, Let me know if you have any other questions or symptoms. Mike
