Question about Denon DRA-37
I had the same thing happen. This fixed it...
1. Press master power switch OFF
2. Hold down Speaker A & B buttons simultaneously then press master power switch
Display will flash at 1 second intervals denoting that the microprocessor has reset.
3. Release Speaker A & B buttons
Remote should now work.

I had the same problem and fixed it, totally by accident. There are 2 black mode selector switches on the bottom of the remote. Make sure that both black switches are pushed all the way to the left, so the right one is above the CD-R/TAPE printing. As soon as I did this, the on/off worked once again.
